Lanta Sand Resort & Spa

We were so sad to leave this place. Being low season, the price point was awesome and was a great experience. The photos are actually what you get. The pool is chlorinated, there are many pools to choose from. Would highly recommend the bungalows as it’s away from the hotel area and much quieter. Continental breaky was great - cereals, toast, yoghurt, selection of fruits, juices, coffee.

10/10 experience in Lanta Sand. The hotel is well taken care of in every aspect. Rooms are spacious and clean, the hotel surrounds are green and quiet. During the low season it's very calm and peaceful. Nice beach and good restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful in every situation. Always smiling and giving good tips what to do in Lanta. Special thanks to View at the beach bar to make the stay memorable for me. I truly enjoyed the stay, thank you! Everything just works at Lanta Sand and it has been the best hotel I have stayid my travels all-around Asia. It is clear that the management do great work to keep the hotel top tier.

Hotel villas are very close the beach. low season prizes are very affordable compare to high season ones. Chill place if you want to relax in beach and like this. They will rent motorcycles aswell if you like to go around the island for example national park in south. If you stay in this island i think you want to have motorcycle for transport because market are "far" closest 600m so not really but the heat is too much if you are visiting them often. Up to you. rent prices are low so why not, if you dont wanna walk everyday. I really did like those villas because they had this nice outdoor shower and small pool to cool.

This is a fabulous resort in Koh Lanta. It's located right on a gorgeous beach. The swimming pools are very clean. The rooms in the hotel were very spacious and well equipped. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This was a great place to totally switch off and relax!!

The villa was very nice size. Bathroom was huge. The plunge pool is quite fun. A little bit overdone with chemicals so we did not really use it. The outside shower is also super fun, very liberating :) Each villa is surrounded by bushes, plants and greenery, it gives nice seclusion. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Fruits, salads, hot dishes, continental options, egg station for freshly made eggs of any kind, waffle station, juices. Beach side is well kept. Plenty of sunbeds, though the ones in the first row that have the elastic nets are taken pretty quickly but there are many more. Sunny and shady area too. The beach itself is fantastic, easy access, fairly quickly deep water. No chance of snorkeling, nothing to see unfortunately. The entire Long Beach is perfect to walk along day or night. There are really nice and inexpensive restaurants directly on the beach. The main road is a short walk away. You can find huge fruit stand in about 15 min walk distance, right across of Mother Marché (grocery store). You can always catch a tuktuk on the main road. Hotel staff is really nice, it was a super choice to spend our vacation days here.
